About the Job

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Officer with hands-on market experience and strong knowledge of luxury fabrics and premium materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality materials while ensuring cost efficiency and timely availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase luxury fabrics, trims, accessories, and related items as per brand standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and market contacts
• Conduct market visits to stay updated on pricing, quality, and new materials
• Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms with suppliers
• Ensure purchased items meet quality and luxury benchmarks
• Coordinate with design, production, and inventory teams for material requirements
• Maintain purchase records, invoices, and supplier documentation
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory planning
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays

Requirements & Skills

• 1–2 years of market-based purchasing experience (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and luxury fashion materials
• Familiarity with local markets and suppliers
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to assess fabric quality, finishes, and pricing
• Basic knowledge of procurement documentation and inventory handling
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines
