Import & Export Officer – UAE Operations

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced **Import & Export Officer** with hands-on experience in **UAE shipping and logistics operations**.

### Experience

* 1–3 years of relevant experience in **UAE shipping operations**.
* Candidates with practical exposure to **UAE trade and shipping portals** will be preferred.

### Key Responsibilities

* Manage end-to-end import and export operations for UAE shipments.
* Process Delivery Orders (D/O) through DP World and other terminal portals.
* Prepare and manage import/export manifests.
* Coordinate shipment documentation, customs requirements, and cargo movement.
* Handle container release requests and coordinate with shipping lines and terminal operators.
* Monitor shipment progress to ensure timely execution.
* Liaise with customers, transporters, shipping lines, and terminal operators.
* Maintain operational records and ensure compliance with UAE shipping regulations.
* Coordinate with internal teams for smooth shipment processing.

### Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in **Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration**, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications in **Shipping or Logistics** will be an added advantage.
