HR Organizational Development & Startup Specialist

Job Description

Better Recruitment is hiring an experienced HR OD & Startup Specialist for a client based near Faisal Town, Lahore.

We are looking for an HR professional who understands the fast-paced startup and IT environment and has hands-on experience in building HR structures, policies, processes, and performance systems from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and organizational processes from scratch
•  Build and improve organizational structures, reporting lines, and role clarity
•  Design and manage performance appraisal and KPI systems
•  Develop employee engagement, retention, and performance improvement initiatives
•  Establish effective onboarding, offboarding, probation, and confirmation processes
•  Manage workforce planning and recruitment strategies
•  Support leadership in hiring, performance management, and employee exits
•  Work closely with the CEO and senior management on organizational development initiatives
•  Build scalable HR systems suitable for growing startups
•  Drive HR automation and process improvement where required
•  Ensure HR practices remain aligned with business objectives and company culture

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience
• Strong experience working with startups and IT/software houses
• Proven experience in setting up HR departments, policies, and procedures from scratch
• Strong expertise in Organizational Development, Performance Management, Recruitment, and Employee Relations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work closely with founders, CEOs, and senior leadership
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
• MBA/BBA in HR, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline preferred
