Job Description

Field: Health, Safety & Environment | HSE

Qualifications & Requirements:

▪️ 1–3 years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety or a similar HSE role.
▪️ Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices and procedures.
▪️ Knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment principles.
▪️ Experience conducting workplace or site safety inspections.
▪️ Familiarity with incident reporting, investigation, and corrective-action follow-up.
▪️ Ability to identify unsafe acts and conditions and recommend appropriate preventive measures.
▪️ Good communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
▪️ Ability to conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
▪️ Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to workplace safety.
▪️ Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

▪️ Conduct routine safety inspections and workplace observations to identify potential hazards.
▪️ Monitor compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
▪️ Perform and support risk assessments and hazard identification activities.
▪️ Report unsafe conditions and practices and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
▪️ Participate in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses.
▪️ Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and employee awareness activities.
▪️ Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
▪️ Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident documentation, and safety statistics.
▪️ Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
▪️ Coordinate with operational teams to promote a strong safety culture and minimize workplace risks.
